Seymour's Chemistry

Digital Game Design, UX Prototype

Seymour’s Chemistry is a third-person player game where the central character must navigate a new, strange world after creating a portal to a new dimension.

Seymour, a goofy chemist, accidentally slips into a purple solution in his lab after spilling it on the floor. This chemical reaction opens a portal to a new dimension, leaving him to find a way back home.

The game’s design and development used a processed-based approach and player testing. Starting with character design, the game’s mechanics, narrative, interactions, animations, and environmental art direction were all informed by the character’s personality.

Seymour’s Chemistry includes a polished prototype with a foundational player experience for visual design, mechanics, and narrative design. Built with Spline Design Software.
